Workshop Description

Have you ever looked at a discarded box and seen more than just packaging? In this engaging and hands-on workshop, you’ll transform humble cardboard into stunning three-dimensional works of art. Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike, this class invites you to discover the creative freedom of working with everyday materials. You’ll explore sculptural techniques, structure, and surface design—without the intimidation or cost of traditional art supplies.

Please Bring

  • Cardboard of any kind: large boxes, shipping tubes, or unusual shapes and textures

  • Additional materials for upcycling: fabric, decorative papers, or other mixed-media elements

  • Extra snap-blade knives (thicker blades preferred)

  • Cups and brushes for thinning and applying glue

About the Artist

Mykl Wells is internationally recognized for his elaborate paintings created in the traditional Flemish technique and for his innovative approach to upcycled sculpture. He has led hundreds of workshops around the world and is the winner of Cartasia, the prestigious International Paper and Cardboard Competition held in Lucca, Italy.
