Possibilities in Pulp - Explorations in Hand Papermaking
Zoë Goehring owns and operates Cave Paper, a production-scale hand papermaking studio specializing in durable, decorated sheets. In addition to the Cave catalog, she designs and produces custom papers for many fine edition presses, artists, and businesses. Her studio practices emphasize sustainability, and in 2022 she was awarded a Sustainable Earth Small Business Award for her focus on alternative water systems and sustainable water use in the studio. Alongside production work, she explores paper pulp as an artistic medium. She holds a Bachelor of Humanities and Art from Carnegie Mellon University with concentrations in Fine Art and Creative Writing, and has an extensive background in organic agriculture as well.
