About The Workshop
Explore the possibilities of pressless printmaking. Combine the techniques of relief, offset, transfer, stencil, pouchoir, and stamping. Students will learn to make quality prints at home without a press and how to transform prints into book art projects.

• Mat/Xacto knife

• Scissors

• Graphite Pencils

  • 2B - 6B

• Self-Healing Mat Board

• Oil Paints

• Brayers

  • 1” - 3”

• Palette Knives

• Rags/Paper Towels

• Water

• Lunch or Snacks

• Optional:

  • Piece of Glass

    • 9” X 12” thereabouts, of an old thrifted frame

  • Clear Packing Tape

  • Ruler

About The Artist: Maria Lee
Maria Lee is a multi-disciplinary artist who will be joining us from Paris to present this workshop. Her works in ink, watercolor, and gouche paintings are usually a response to the landscape or light on the landscape create; which is loose and impressionistic brushwork. Maria’s printmaking and book arts can be very graphic.
