Workshop Description
Explore how to turn your creative ideas into expressive, handcrafted books. This day-long workshop with Beata Wehr combines writing, visual selection, design, and structure. Through guided exercises—including informal writing, image editing, layout planning, and individualized critique—you’ll learn to develop a cohesive artistic concept and translate it into book form.

Preferred art materials: colored pencils, inks, gouache, watercolor, or acrylic paints
About the Artist
Beata Wehr is an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community College and has also taught at the University of Arizona, Southwest University for Visual Arts, and the Tucson Museum of Art. Her artists’ books are represented in over 70 public collections across the United States and abroad.
