Artist Bio / Artist Statement:

I have a design degree from San Diego State University. I have worked in elementary education for 40 years. I have also taught art classes for the Amphi School District. I am a signature member of the Watercolor Guild and the Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona.

I am inspired by transparent landscapes and florals and non representative abstract art. I usually start with an underpainting. I try to incorporate texture and design principles in my work. My favorite mediums are fluid acrylics and collage papers.
