Artist Statement

My art is expressed in hand-bound, one-of-a-kind artists' books and boxes, and handmade papers. Experimentation with a variety of media and techniques is an important element in my personal journey as an artist. My focus has been on the intuitive connection and deep reverence I have for the natural world and with the Sacred Feminine. The reoccurring idea that drives my work is the interconnectedness of all things. I weave images and words to spark an imagining for the viewer/reader that leads to an understanding of the weave of life itself, something we are all a part of. I wish for my work to create a reawakening of the potential relationship we all have with nature and ourselves.
