Since August 2004, I have worked exclusively on art that relates to the issues surrounding the US-Mexican border. I work in paper, cloth and clay. I have great compassion for the crossers, for the ranchers and for the earth which is impacted by the steady flow of people. My work releases my strong emotions and elicits strong emotions from the viewer. I believe we have a failed border policy and only through dialogue and awareness can an answer be found.
