Artist Statement
A sense of time, place, memory and the emotional connections within them are a recurring theme in my work. Remnants of time are often used in my prints and books. Found objects provide me with inspiration because of the evidence of use and the sense of mystery that they hold. I have a keen interest in personal mark making - my own and that which is found in the ephemera that I collect. Involvement with my work and its processes is important to me: the act of trusting an idea, caring for it, seeing it through and letting it have a life of its own.
